As I sit here, beginning a journal entry for my nearly abandoned DA account, it occurs to me that this is pretty much the tenth site I have visited as I procrastinate on my homework.

As no one here undoubtedly knows, I am now a college student. I would say I'm faring well, but that doesn't preclude the agonies of homework -- in this case, of a nature and intensity that I'm not particularly used to.

On the other hand, I am working on art, of a sort. While my drawing output has been reduced to useless doodles in the last several months, writing has been on my mind. I'm taking a creative writing class, which should be reassuring. How I'm going to balance such a class and NaNoWriMo, I shall never know.

Ah, so I am still attempting that NaNoWriMo thing, aren't I? Sounds insane, being that it's a difficult task to begin with, never mind being a first-quarter brand-new full-time college student who used to have enormous tracts of flexible time as a homeschooled student. Ah, those were the days.

So, I find myself polishing up a bit of fiction for my creative writing class that's due tomorrow. That is, if I weren't on the internet procrastinating. To wit, I shall leave these things as they are and hope I have time to post something on here between now and next quarter.

If all else fails, I'll take a proper art class next quarter so I am positively forced to have something worth posting.
